Jesters take on SSSC Saturday night at Pan American

New Orleans, LA.  The New Orleans Jesters take on Southern States SC Saturday night at Pan American Stadium, gates open at 6 PM with kickoff set for 7 PM. The Jesters (3-1-3) enter the weekend in third position in the NPSL Gulf Coast Conference two points behind Southern States (4-1-2) who lead the Conference.

Jesters Head Coach Kenny Farrell,

“The players are relishing the challenge of playing the first place team and had a very focused week of training.  The intensity and the quality have been high and I am looking forward to them carrying that with them into Saturday’s match.”

SSSC defeated the Jesters 3-1 in the first game of the season with Sheldon Green recording the lone New Orleans goal. The May 12 loss is New Orleans’ only defeat this season.

The Jesters last two matches have ended in draws with a 0-0 result in Pensacola a week ago followed by a 2-2 draw versus Tallahassee SC last Saturday night.

Following the game against SSSC, New Orleans will have just two games remaining in the regular season with an away fixture in Jacksonville on June 28 followed by the regular season finale at Pan American Stadium vs Pensacola FC on July 8.
