New Orleans Jesters teams up with NORD to launch Spring soccer training
New Orleans, LA. The New Orleans Jesters has teamed up with the New Orleans Recreation Department Commision (NORDC) to launch a new Spring soccer training initiative. The program is in partnership with USSF’s Innovate to Grow program.
The Jesters will offer a weekly Academy-style practice at Annunciation Playground from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Starting on Wednesday, March 13. The sessions will continue each Wednesday through May 8
There is no charge to join the Jesters and NORDC soccer program and it is open to children ages 7 – 12.
“NORD is thrilled to launch this partnership with the New Orleans Jesters. Participating youth will benefit from this series of soccer clinics and professional training experiences. Expanding NORD athletics to include youth soccer training will ensure our young athletes master self-discipline, good sportsmanship, and knowledge of the sport on a professional level,” said Larry Barabino, Jr., NORD Chief Executive Officer. “Soccer is a much-needed addition to our current program offerings, and we look forward to announcing additional clinics in the coming weeks.”
New Orleans Jesters head coach Kenny Farrell is looking forward to working with the children,
