NOLA Jesters and the Carrollton Boosters (a top NORD affiliate) are pleased to announce they have entered into a long-term partnership agreement after four successful youth soccer seasons. The agreement, which begins with the 2013 season, will have the Jesters and its non-profit youth affiliate, NOLA Soccer Academy, providing exclusive professional soccer training, clinics and camps to Carrollton Booster soccer players and its goal will be to help support and maintain Carrollton's soccer program as the best recreational soccer program in the region.
"We are very excited and looking forward to working with the Jesters on improving the quality of soccer in our leagues as well as the skill level of every player", commented Adrian D'Arcy, Director of Soccer for Carrollton Boosters.
Under the partnership agreement, Carrollton Booster soccer players will have the option to enter into the Jesters Pre-Elite training program. From there, players will graduate to play on the Jesters Elite squads, where they will be groomed for regional travel, high school and college soccer. The New Orleans Jesters U8, U9 and U10 Elite squads are comprised solely of Carrollton Booster players.
"I am extremely impressed with the depth of talent within the Carrollton Booster program and the progress that the players have made through our Pre-Elite and Elite programs over the last couple of years," stated Jesters Head Coach Kenny Farrell.
The New Orleans Jesters look forward to reviewing their first U11 Elite team with players developed through the Carrollton Boosters league next season. Farrell hopes that he can eventually field a completely local roster for the minor league team in order to successfully compete in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).
