In 2003 The New Orleans Shell Shockers was born. The newly formed team competed in the USL PDL (United Soccer Leagues: Premier Development League) and played against several college teams. The Shell Shockers quickly became a national staple and competitive team. Their success lead to successful PDL seasons and many players receiving international attention.
Following the 2008 season the Shell Shockers underwent a full re-branding changing its colors and name to the New Orleans Jesters. The franchise honored Pan American Stadium as it’s Official Home Field and continued to showcase talented individuals to the fans. In 2012 the franchise entered the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and began competition in the Southeast Division.
In the past few years the franchise has grown its popularity in the Gulf Coast Region and National stage. During this growth the Jesters implemented a youth system that is designed to teach, build, and produce home grown players for the NPSL First Team. The Jesters oan to produce national and internationally talented players in their very own backyard. The Jesters finished the 2017 season Undefeated in the Southeast Division but only managed as a finalist for the Southern Conference.
