Goalkeeper Jose Santos joins New Orleans Jesters for 2021 NPSL season
New Orleans, LA. Goalkeeper Jose Santos will play for the New Orleans Jesters for the upcoming NPSL season. A native of Marrero, LA. Santos has previously played for the Myrtle Beach Mutiny in USL.
Kenny Farrell is very pleased to be able to add Santos to the team for the upcoming campaign.
“Jose is a very good, young goalkeeper. He is big, technically sound and has a strong understanding of the game. It’s vital for goalkeepers to play games in order to progress and I’m looking forward to working with him this summer.”
A native of Marrero, La, Santos played collegiately at West Virginia University where he was named to the 2018 Academic All-Big 12 At-Large Team.
Prior to WVU Santos played for Archbishop Shaw High School.
In addition to his playing duties Jose Santos is also the goalkeeping coach for the New Orleans Jesters Youth Academy and an assistant coach for the Jesters U19 team.
The New Orleans Jesters will play a fourteen-game NPSL regular season schedule with the first home match set for 7 PM vs AFC Mobile on Saturday, May 8 at Pan American Stadium. Season tickets, group tickets and individual game tickets are all on sale now at www.nolajesters.com.
