Jesters head to Gulfport to take on Port City FC

New Orleans, LA.  The New Orleans Jesters return to NPSL Gulf Coast action Wednesday night as they head to Gulfport, MS to take on Port City FC.  The game kicks off at 7 PM and will be streamed live at mycujoo.com.

The Jesters (3-2-3) did not play last weekend after the match versus Tallahassee SC was postponed.  New Orleans enters the week in 4th position in the Gulf Coast standings. The top four teams will advance to the postseason.

Port City FC (3-5-0) are three points behind New Orleans in fifth position.

The sides met back on May 22 with the Jesters winning 2-0 behind goals from Mason Walsh and a Port City own goal.

The Jesters fought back to earn a 1-1 tie in their last match played on June 12 versus AFC Mobile.

Striker Sheldon Green tallied the lone Jesters goal, his team-leading fifth of the season.

Goalkeeper Lamoy Graham was unfortunate not to keep a fourth consecutive clean-sheet.  The AFC Mobile goal came from a deflected shot that looped over the goalkeeper into the top corner. It was the first goal that Graham has conceded this season.
