New Orleans Jesters Academy goalkeeper Jourdan Schumacher joins Jesters NPSL team

New Orleans, LA. New Orleans Jesters Academy goalkeeper Jourdan Schumacher will join the NPSL team for the upcoming season. Schumacher has played for the Jesters Academy for the past seven years since he was 10 years old and recently signed a national letter of intent to play  for the NCAA D1 Coastal Carolina University Soccer Program.  

New Orleans Jesters Director of Soccer Kenny Farrell is excited to continue to work with Schumacher this summer,

“Jourdan has progressed from the recreational program in partnership with Carrollton Boosters, through the Academy and now to the NPSL team.  He’s an example of what is possible at the Jetsers if you work hard and stay committed. This experience will provide a brilliant learning opportunity for him as he prepares for NCAA D1 soccer in the Fall.”

Jordan Schumacher joined the Jesters as a 9 yr old after starting his playing career with the Carrollton Boosters Recreational soccer program. Under the overall guidance of Jesters Director of Coaching Kenny Farrell has enjoyed a superb Academy career that has seen him progress from the U10 level all the way up to the senior NPSL side.

The New Orleans Jesters will play a fourteen-game NPSL regular season schedule with the first home match set for 7 PM vs AFC Mobile on Saturday, May 8 at Pan American Stadium. Season tickets, group tickets and individual game tickets are all on sale now at www.nolajesters.com.
