New Orleans Jesters team up with Ochsner Health for team Covid-19 vaccination event

New Orleans, LA.  The New Orleans Jesters have teamed up with Ochsner Health to vaccinate the players and coaches on the 2021 squad.  The Jesters team visited the Ochsner Center for Primary Care and Wellness on Monday morning to get their shots.  In addition to receiving COVID-19 vaccinations they also met some of the healthcare professionals that work at the hospital and presented 2021 New Orleans Jesters jerseys to Thomas Harris (Vice President of Pediatrics, Ochsner Health).

New Orleans Jesters head coach Kenny Farrell said, “We are so grateful to Ochsner Health for allowing us to come in as a team and get vaccinated.  We know how important it is for everyone to get their COVID-19 shot and hopefully we can raise awareness a little bit that this is something all the folks in our community have the opportunity to do.”

The Jesters players are very familiar with Ochsner Health. In addition to getting vaccinated at the hospital the players train at the Ochsner Fitness Centers.  The 2021 jersey also features the Ochsner Hospital for Children logo.

The New Orleans Jesters play a fourteen-game NPSL regular season schedule, the next home match is set for 7 PM vs Port City FC on Saturday, May 22 at Pan American Stadium. Season tickets, group tickets and individual game tickets are all on sale now at www.nolajesters.com.
