New Orleans Jesters teams up with NORD to kick off youth soccer clinics

New Orleans, LA.  The New Orleans Jesters has teamed up with the New Orleans Recreation Department Commision (NORDC) to offer a series of free soccer camps and clinics.  This new initiative is launched in partnership with USSF’s Innovate to Grow program. The soccer camps will kick off on Wednesday February 14 and Friday February 16 with a pair of youth soccer clinics at Annunciation Playground from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM.

There is no charge for the soccer clinics and they are open to children ages 7 – 12.

“NORD is thrilled to launch this partnership with the New Orleans Jesters. Participating youth will benefit from this series of soccer clinics and professional training experiences. Expanding NORD athletics to include youth soccer training will ensure our young athletes master self-discipline, good sportsmanship, and knowledge of the sport on a professional level,” said Larry Barabino, Jr., NORD Chief Executive Officer. “Soccer is a much-needed addition to our current program offerings, and we look forward to announcing additional clinics in the coming weeks.”

New Orleans Jesters head coach Kenny Farrell is looking forward to working with the children,
