Jesters head to Southern States for Saturday night match

New Orleans, LA.  The New Orleans Jesters continue their 2021 NPSL Gulf Coast campaign with a Saturday night road match versus Southern States SC (7:30 PM / mycujoo.tv). The Jesters rallied on Saturday and scored a stoppage time equalizer to earn a point in their first game of the season versus AFC Mobile.

Head coach Kenny Farrell was pleased with the performance but is looking for more from his young team:

“The players showed great character to come from behind and earn a point on Saturday night, they never gave up and their resilience paid off.  This weekend’s match against Southern States will be another stern test and they are going to have to work even harder with 100% focus in order to get the result that they are very capable of.”

Southern States got off to a fast start in 2021 with a 3-0 win in their first game of the season versus AFC Mobile on May 1st. SSSC are coached by former Jester Carl Reynolds.

The Jesters return to Pan American on Saturday, May 22 for a 7:00 PM match versus Port City FC. Season tickets, group tickets and individual game tickets are all on sale now at www.nolajesters.com.
