Jesters home Saturday night versus Tallahassee SC

New Orleans, LA.  The New Orleans Jesters return to Pan American Stadium Saturday night for a 7 PM match versus Tallahassee SC ($10, nolajesters.com).  The Jesters enter the game on the back of a hard fought 1-1 draw vs Pensacola FC on Wednesday night.

Head coach Kenny Farrell is looking forward to the game,

“We know how difficult an opponent Tallahassee is and we will have to be absolutely switched on and focused from the outset.  The players have put themselves in a good position at this stage of the season and they need to keep the hard going as we enter the final month”.

Team captain Ricardo Gomez scored the lone goal vs Pensacola with a direct free-kick and then despite enjoying the majority of possession and creating several good chances New Orleans were unable to push on and win the game.

New Orleans enters the weekend in second position in the Gulf Coast three points behind Southern States SC but having played one fewer game.

The Jesters battled Tallahassee SC to a 0-0 tie two weeks ago in a game played in Tallahassee with New Orleans forced to play the final 25 minutes a man short after midfielder Alex Blanche was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.  After serving a suspension Blanche will be available for selection on Saturday night.

Tickets are available now for Saturday’s match versus Tallahassee SC ($10 adults / $7 children: nolajesters.com).
