Jesters home Wednesday versus Tallahassee SC

New Orleans, LA.  The New Orleans Jesters take on Tallahassee SC Wednesday night at Pan American stadium; gates open at 6 PM with kickoff set for 7 PM.  The Jesters enter the match on the back of a hard fought 1-1 tie versus Columbus United last Saturday night.

New Orleans coach Kenny Farrell is looking forward to playing back at home,

“It’s been a challenging couple of weeks with some very hard games played on the road.  Overall I have been pleased with the performances and the spirit in the squad remains high. If we bring the intensity and focus Wednesday night we definitely have the quality within our ranks to get the result we are looking for.”

New Orleans are currently in a tie for 5th position in the Gulf Coast Sunshine Conference standings, level with Tallahassee SC on eight points and just a single point behind Columbus United.

Wednesday’s game versus Tallahassee is the third meeting between the sides this season.

The Jesters defeated Tallahassee 4-3 in the first game played back on June first in a match that featured four different New Orleans goal scorers: Sky Sinclair, Russell Brown, Juan Pablo Gonzalez and Erick Gunera.

Tallahassee reversed that result with a 3-2 win on June 9; the Jesters led 2-1 through Juan Pablo Gonzalez and Russell Brown, but with minutes remaining conceded twice as Tallahassee SC came from behind to win.
