Jesters lose to Armada 

Jacksonville, FL. The New Orleans Jesters lost to the Jacksonville Armada 3-1 Friday night at Southern Oaks Stadium. Sheldon Green scored the lone Jesters goal as New Orleans lost away from home for the first time this season.

Jacksonville opened the scoring in the 6th minute after a chip from Sebastian Zettl found Oliver Moller-Jensen who headed home to make it 1-0.

Sheldon Green equalized in the 12th minute from the penalty spot after Erick Gunera was brought down inside the box.

The Armada took the lead for a second time in the 57th minute through Sebastian Zettel who saw his initial penalty saved but scored from the rebound after Ludvig Malberg’s save.

Jacksonville added a third five minutes later with another penalty, this time converted by Toby Mccallum.

New Orleans takes on Tallahassee SC on Sunday evening in the second match of the road trip.
