The New Orleans Jesters will host a three-day Mardi Gras Soccer Camp at the Big Easy Sportsplex on Wednesday February 26 – Friday February 28. Under the overall direction of New Orleans Jesters Head Coach Kenny Farrell the camps feature a fun-filled learning experience that gives youth players a taste of the professional training experience.
“We host these camps the week of Mardi Gras annually and they are a big favorite for children and parents alike,” said Farrell. “A lot of folks take off the remainder of the Mardi Gras week and this gives children the chance to hone their soccer skills at one of our special times of year in a fun but professional environment.”
The New Orleans Jesters Mardi Gras soccer camp provides young players with the opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching at an appropriate level based on their current skills from the New Orleans Jesters coaching staff.
Children from all clubs, schools, and youth soccer locations are welcome at the camp. All Jesters camps are designed to provide a fun learning experience that gives youth players a taste of the professional training experience.
Each day will include individual foot skills, technical drills, small-sided games, and coached scrimmages. Equally important, the Jesters coaching staff provides children with lessons in self-discipline, good sportsmanship, and respect for others and for the game.
The New Orleans Jesters are getting set for the upcoming NPSL season beginning in May 2020. Led by Head Coach Kenny Farrell, the Jesters return to NPSL action after a one-year hiatus and will compete in the NPSL Gulf Coast Conference. For additional information please visit NolaJesters.com.
