New Orleans Jesters U-19 kick off season Saturday vs Southern States Soccer U-19

New Orleans, LA. The New Orleans Jesters U-19’s kick off their inaugural season on Saturday night with a road match versus Southern States Soccer U-19.  The game will be played at The Oakes Training Facility, kick off is set for 7:30 PM.

Director of Soccer, Kenny Farrell is looking forward to the first match,

“Coach Siskov has had the group together for several weeks now and the players have been training very hard. I think for any team at any level playing on the road is a challenge and to be honest we’re expecting a really tough game.

“Southern States Soccer U-19 are one of the stronger sides in the competition and they have some real quality within their squad. I think Coach Siskov and the squad are looking forward to the test and I’m sure will do their best to put on a good team performance.”

Southern States Soccer U-19 opened their campaign last weekend with a 3-0 victory versus Pensacola FC.

The U-19 pilot league is  managed by the NPSL, and affiliated with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).

The pilot will run from September through November.  Each team will play a total of eight games, four home and four away. The gameday roster will consist of U-17, U-18, and U-19 players along with up to three overage players.
